Introducing the National Apprenticeships Program (NAP)
The National Apprenticeships Program (NAP) is an Advanced Entry Adult Trade Program. The Program offers a more flexible way of employing or up-skilling existing Australian Workers with proven cost savings.
The National Apprenticeships Program is designed to assist Mature-Age Apprentices. To be eligible for the Program, the entry level is set at 40% Recognised Prior Learning (RPL). This provides experienced workers who are immediately productive on site and can be Trade qualified within 18 months.
The Program ensures skilled workers are aligned with employer’s specific operational requirements. NAP has an established track record of securing the most suitable committed participants through a robust recruitment model and can be ready for commencement on-site within a short time frame. Apprentices can be locally secured; or FIFO or DIDO, depending on employer’s requirements. The Program has a proven 96% Apprentice retention rate.
The National Apprenticeships Program currently has seven (7) main trades listed on our website (www.nationalapprenticeships.com.au). These include Electrical Fitter/Mechanic, Mechanical Fitter, Diesel Fitter, Plumber, Carpenter/Formworker, Boilermaker/Welder and Dual Trade Instrumentation (must already have their A-grade Electrical Licence).
To be eligible for the Program, applicants must be Australian permanent residents or Australian citizens who are prepared to work anywhere within Australia.
